This is an artwork from my ongoing work with AI, I have been developing these processes since 2014 and I created the program that they were made on.
The artificial flower is growing; mimicking growth patterns and motion found in nature, while being restrained in a box that limits its movement and potential for expansion
These references, motions, forms and behaviours have been fed in to my AI process over years and is a result of thousands of hours of data training and development
This artwork in particular is relevant because it is the first time natural patterns and motion have been effectively mimicked in my process.
